Am I the "right" person to become a Touchstone Crystal Consultant?

There is no “right” or “wrong” person for the party plan business.  However, successful Consultants are those who are self-motivated and disciplined, enthusiastic, and enjoy building relationships with others.  Our Consultants have a passion for our beautiful jewelry and the unique and fun experience they have to offer others.

The ages, backgrounds, employment situations, family circumstances and prior experience of our Consultant base is quite diverse.  You don’t need to have prior sales and/or jewelry making experience to join us-all you need is excitement about our concept and products.  We look forward to working with you to get your business started.  Whether you are looking to turn this opportunity into a new business or a long-lasting career, we are here to help you reach that goal.

How much time should I expect to spend as a Touchstone Crystal Consultant?

Touchstone Crystal is a party-plan company, meaning our primary sales channel is our Touchstone Crystal parties. As a Touchstone Crystal Consultant, you decide how much time you have to devote to your business.  The amount of time you can dedicate to the business will determine your earning potential and the development of your business.

As a Touchstone Crystal Independent Consultant, you enjoy a completely flexible schedule.  Our successful Consultants budget about 5 hours of their time for each party and conduct one or more parties per week.  This includes time working with your Hostess, preparing for the party, conducting the party, entering orders and following-up after the party.  The beauty is that you decide when you will make time for your business, so you can still enjoy time with your family, other employment obligations and your own hobbies.

Those joining Touchstone Crystal with the intention of growing a business with substantial income conduct two or more parties per week, dedicating roughly ten hours or more per week to their business- the equivalent of a part-time job.  Those who choose to have one party a week, maintain their business with moderate, but steady income potential.  Anyone conducting less than one party per week would enjoy their Touchstone Crystal business mainly because of the social aspect and love of the jewelry.   Should you decide to actively build your own consultant organization ("downline"), your time commitment will increase as will your earning opportunity.

What kind of commission/career plan does Touchstone Crystal offer?

It is our goal to build a strong and loyal Consultant organization. We would like to attract individuals who want to pursue a career with us, at whatever level of time commitment is appropriate for them. Since we are a young company, we look to quickly build a sound and effective Consultant base - our commission/career plan reflects this goal.

You will find the Touchstone Crystal experience a rewarding one from day one. Those Consultants who choose to build their own organizations and become leaders of the field, will find our commissions, bonuses, incentive trips, and car program, particularly attractive.

Our commission/career plan rewards personal, central group and team performance. Even at higher levels of the organization, rewarding personal sales and recruiting is part of our philosophy.

What kind of training does Touchstone Crystal offer?

We are committed to providing each of our Touchstone Crystal Consultants the appropriate training she will need to succeed at each level of the organization, and if she chooses, to advance to the next level.

As a new recruit you can expect a mix of training formats, ranging from weekly updates from the home office, a Consultant Business Binder, which will be your primary reference tool as you are getting started, on-line training courses, monthly newsletters and personal training with your Upline and Field Development Manager.  These resources will provide you with the fundamentals such as party flow, Touchstone Crystal product information, simple beading techniques, booking parties, selling skills, and recruiting.

Training is an ongoing process with Touchstone Crystal and your Field Development Manager and/or Upline will work with you on personal goal setting and help you strategize a plan to help you reach those goals.  If building your own Consultant organization is on your horizon, we will work with you to put you on a special leadership track, including customized coaching and coursework.

I would like to become a Touchstone Crystal Consultant - what do I do?

We are very excited that you are interested in this opportunity.  Please contact us directly at 1-800-203-2488 or via e-mail: info@touchstonecrystal.com and we will put you in touch with a Field Development Manager or experienced Leader in your area to schedule an Opportunity Interview either in person or over the phone.

An Opportunity Interview is your chance to ask questions and make sure this is the right decision for you.  The Touchstone Crystal representative will review important aspects of this business opportunity including: the party experience, the product line, the Career Plan, the Hostess Program, and our Policies and Procedures.  It also gives us the opportunity to talk with you about what you are hoping to obtain from your business so we can better prepare you to get started.

Once you decide to join us, you will need to complete the Consultant Application and Agreement and the Consultant Starter Kit Order Form and either fax or send them to us.  Upon receiving them, we will send your Consultant Starter Kit to you, which you should receive within 7 days.  You can start your business the day you receive your kit!

I have signed up to be a Consultant - when can I have my first Touchstone Crystal Party?

Once you have your Consultant Starter Kit, you can have your first Touchstone Crystal Party right away!

We encourage you to schedule as many Touchstone Crystal parties as you can to get comfortable with your new business as soon as possible.  We recommend that you conduct four parties within your first month of business so you reap the rewards of the Fast Track Program and become a Qualified Consultant.  Offering the Hostess Opportunity to your closest friends and family is  a good way to start scheduling your first few parties. 

Your Field Development Manager and/or Upline will be happy to explain our Fast Track Program so you can plan your first three months of business and get your business started on the right foot.
